1. Good forex trading platform is the platform that has everything already installed inside that particular software. It has great charting, great news feed, great market insight all in one.
2. This actually depends on your skill level. While some brokers have their own trading platform like http://www.fxsolutions.com, the easiest trading platform to learn is Metatrader.
It doesn't have all the bells and whistles of the other platforms, but you can do a lot with it in terms of programming.
The easiest way to get acquainted with it is to do a demo forex account search through Google or Yahoo or go to http://www.metaquotes.net
Hope that helps
3. I use fxcm
tradfxlive.blogspot.com

6. Many good forex brokers out there.
I will give you a few guidelines when selecting a broker:
1. Make sure the broker is regulated and the regulator provides coverage in case of broker default
2. Contact the broker you're interested in and see how fast they respond, and the quality of their response.
3. Once you decide to open an account and you do so, try withdrawing some money as soon as possible and see how fast they process the withdrawal.
4. Look for a broker with low spreads, after you've found several brokers that you feel comfortable with compare their spreads, I personally wouldn't trade EUR/USD with over 2-2.5 pips spread.
