Best forex brokers and trading platforms?

I'm planning on opening a forex trading account, and have done a lot of research and have finally decided between the following brokers: FXCM, FxPro, AVAfx. I was just wondering if anyone could give me a bit of first hand input on the platform reliability / functionality and customer service. thank you.

1. If you're a US trader... then of three you should use FXCM. Regulation is the first topic of concern.

If you're US based, I'd also look at;
GFT
InterbankFX
GFT platform.... of the three is my favorite. MT4 on Interbank works well also.

Don't fool yourself..... no matter which broker you use... no FX broker is good.
It will take you (on average) 3-5 years to become consistently profitable... assuming you're not one of the 95% that fail in less than a year.

Here are the most important skills you'll need (in order);
Trader psychology (yours & the markets)
Money management (risk control)
Technical Analysis

NOTE: Amateurs tend to do this list backwards...... don't be one of them.

2. you may also try to check your options in this site. for a beginner, this site could be your best choice. by opening any of their account- mini, gold, platinum or vip- they will provide for free a personal account service manager or asm as personal coach or trainer. discussions are done via phone, email, chat or personal meeting if you happen to reside near any of its regional offices in the usa, canada, europe, uk, australia, middle east or asia. they've been in the business since 2003 so you can be sure it is a trusted, reliable and legitimate forex company. trading currencies can be done using your desk/laptop, smartphone, iphone, or pda allowing you to trade at anytime, anywhere. all the best.

3. Go with FXCM in combination with this: http://tinyurl.com/3tcla4v

It's the largest site for Forex strategies in the world. It's compatible with FXCM. In fact, here is the page on FXCM you'll need to use to upgrade your FXCM account to work with the strategies there: http://www.fxcm.com/zulutrade-fss-lod.jsp (or http://www.fxcm.co.uk/zulutrade-lod-form.jsp for the UK)

4. I would use avafx. It has one of the most reliable trading platforms and a great auto trader.

5. The only complete Forex course I have seen is
the most comprehensive forex trading strategy available today. http://bit.ly/forexcomplete

6. hello!

There are a lot of brokers reviews on my site http://www.forexrealm.com/brokers-reviews/

I recommend you to try FXCM or eToro (in spite of theirs low ratings) because they are the most professional forex brokers on my mind. Also you can find some brokers with 4 stars from 5.

I was searching brokers for this rating very carefully. All of them are respectable.

Anyway you can read reviews and choose what you like.

Best regards,
Lui
